Arthritis in the CMC joint is more common than in knees, and the current treatment is surgically invasive and results in reduced joint function.

Galway based Loci Orthopaedics develops novel solutions to meet large unmet clinical needs in the rapidly expanding orthopaedics extremities market. Our initial product InDx, a novel CMC Thumb Base Implant is a patented implant that is designed to recreate the natural biomechanics of the complex CMC joint.

Our goal is to transform the surgical option landscape for these patients and Loci Orthopaedics holds the leading number of published patents globally in this area.
